Ingredients:

You will need the following ingredients for Guacamole.

2 ripe avocados
2 tomatoes
½ green chili
1 tbsp finely diced onion OR
1 bunch of chives
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp fresh oregano

Method for Guacamole:

The meat is spooned out of the avocados and is mashed with a fork. Blanch the tomatoes, peel of the skin, remove the seeds and dice them. Remove the seeds from the chili and dice it. Chili and tomatoes are mashed into a puree in a mortar. The tomato mash is added to the avocados together with the onion or chives and the lime juice. Lime juice can be replaced by lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with oregano and decorate with a couple of tomato slices.
